I agree about spending money to beat cancer instead of foreign aid, public TV, planned parenthood, endowment for the arts.
As I write my 3 yr old grandson is in the hospital fighting cancer...neuroblastoma.
Why can’t we announce a “war on cancer” and forget wasting all this money and effort and take on this disease once and for all?!
I’m saying prayers for your grandson.
A small step, but nevertheless, a good one.
Prayers for your grandson.

Prayers up for your sweet grandson.
“Why cant we announce a war on cancer and ... take on this disease once and for all?!”
Because, as County Joe once sang, “There’s plenty good money to be made...” And ask yourself this: Why are billions spent on AIDS research when we all know what causes it, and how to prevent it? There are infinitely more people suffering and dying from cancer than there are dying from AIDS.
Prayers lifted for your grandson.
Prayers for your grandson. My mother succumbed to inflammatory breast cancer a week before last Thanksgiving. I often wonder if we took the same approach as we did with The Manhattan Project and Project Apollo to the Moon, I wonder if we have a cure by now. I’m an only child but I have step brothers and sisters since Dad remarried. My brother in law is head research doctor at Ohio State for cancer research, I’d like to ask his take on this. BTW he lost his mother two weeks after mine, during Chanukah so we both had it rough during the Holidays.
(((((Sending Prayers)))))
I don't want to appear too cold hearted; but another disease would step to the plate.
