DETROIT POLICE STAND WITH CITIZENS WHO ARE USING GUNS FOR SELF-DEFENSE

With "fatal self-defense shootings on the rise in Detroit," law-abiding citizens know one thing--Detroit police have their back.

According to The Detroit News, "justified" self-defense shootings in Detroit are hovering around 10 since January 1st.

This is up considerably from 2013, in which "there were 15 justifiable [self-defense shootings] in the city" during the entire year.

And far from criticizing the fact that more and more homeowners are standing up for their lives and property, Detroit Police Chief James Craig said he views this rebirth of self-defense as proof that"more and more Detroiters are becoming empowered."

Great news, but remember.....

When you shoot someone from a protected ethnic group, the Police are not your friend.

Give them your photo ID, phone number, employer, and Social Security number.

Then - polite silence.

No matter what the Police want, no matter what they say to you, you have one response:

“I want to speak to my lawyer, please.”

The libs assume that citizens shooting bad guys in Detroit are whites shooting the “victim” class (aka blacks). They're wrong.

Blacks in Detroit are shooting feral blacks and there's no racial component except in lib's minds. Lib's minds are closed to any truth. Detroit Police Chief James Craig (a black man) and the residents of Detroit (a black majority) know this; libs pretend otherwise.

I saw this police chief on one of the FOX shows speaking up about this
very forcefully he firmly believes citizens of Detroit NEED to protect
themselves! He IS black very well spoken and I was very impressed with
him! It is happening VERY SLOWLY but these communities ARE waking
up in Chicago, Detroit, and now NY over (charter schools)!!! This is NOT
going to happen overnight BUT it is happening!! The unemployment rate
in these communities is far greater than other areas and they are awakening, defending themselves is a start! Town halls are happening
and they are FINALLY raising their voices Obammie was supposed to be their savior NOT!!!

Its an important step toward self responsibility and the GOP needs to capitalize on it and encourage the people to stand on their own two feet.

Fortunately the GOP in Michigan is making inroads.

I would add that I have heard of advice to give the police some very, very brief description of what happened, along the lines of “This person was attacking me and I was afraid he might kill me” and nothing more.

Note that I didn’t say what you HAD to tell them, I just pointed out that it might be a good idea to state briefly what went down in very succinct terms with no embellishment, so that the police have some idea of the situation.

This was part of the advice given by a defense attorney on one of the series of personal defense tapes produced by Guns & Ammo that I have.

The experts (lawyers) just disagree here.

Ironically, liberal, Democratic Detroit is now the 1# most gun friendly city in the country.
