LATE SEASON FREEZING CONDITIONS ARE ANTICIPATED TONIGHT IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST ARIZONA. THE LAST FREEZE EVENT IMPACTING THESE LOWER ELEVATION AREAS OCCURRED NEARLY THREE WEEKS AGO. WARMER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS OVER THE PAST THREE WEEKS HAVE LED MANY CROPS TO EXPERIENCE EARLY BUD DEVELOPMENT. THUS...THE FREEZING CONDITIONS TONIGHT POSE A RISK TO THE AGRICULTURE COMMUNITY ACROSS SOUTHEAST ARIZONA IN THE AREAS HIGHLIGHTED BY THIS WARNING.


UPPER SANTA CRUZ RIVER VALLEY/ALTAR VALLEY- UPPER SAN PEDRO RIVER VALLEY- EASTERN COCHISE COUNTY BELOW 5000 FEET-UPPER GILA RIVER VALLEY-


A FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM MST FRIDAY.

We’ve had a cold snap as well here.

It’s only 69 with a low tonight expected to be 51 degrees.

I’m gonna have to shut the windows in a few.

Hope the crops & plants are ok!
