Damned sure the “media” are frantically working to connect the shooter(s) with the TP. Wasn’t it ABC who within minutes had a list of TEA Party members in Colorado and breathlessly announced they had found a name matching the shooter’s?
Good grief! Srsly? Hasn’t been but an hour or so and he’s headed towards the first mic and camera he can find. That is just so gross

NBC’s describing it as the base where a military psychiatrist shot the place up a few years ago. Apparently, they didn’t see any news value in reporting what that psychiatrist’s ideological motivation was.

DOJ reports that shooter is dead from self-inflicted gunshot wound.
BBC is reporting this new incident but describes the previous incident as “ an Army Major doing the shooting”.
No mention of admitted Jihad by a self admitted Islamist in the case of Nidal.
This will turn out to be the same type of incident.

I’m sure it’s the same type of incident, but we’re sure never going to hear anything about it. The Army just told the press they can’t interview witnesses. (You know, the ones who heard this latest Muslim convert yelling “Allah Akhbar.”)
Well we know this. Soldiers are sitting ducks at Fort Hood and the base commander should be cashiered. Just the opinion of a lowly former enlisted man. Enough is enough.

According to NBC News from a military official, the Fort Hood shooter is ‘down’ and he appears to be only gunman.

@CBSNews reports source says shooter’s name is Ivan Lopez, he is dead from self inflicted wound. 45 caliber pistol used.
Reports have said that the shooter was driving a gray Toyota, described as a white male in an Army Combat Uniform, and carrying a .45 handgun.
