Remember when Newt was slammed for making money off of books?

If you are GOP, money from books = bad, Democrat book authors get a pass.

Newt wasn’t slammed for making money from books. He was slammed for using a presidential campaign as a thinly veiled book promotion tour. Your book is supposed to promote your campaign, not the other way around.

During that fake scandal, the media left out what the second highest bid was, it was 4.1 million, that would have revealed that it was a sought after book, also the Clintons shortly went on to reach history making deals many millions higher, without controversy.
