It ususally erupts every 60,000 years. It has now been 64,000 years.Every 600,000 years...and it has been 640,000 years. Off by a factor of 10 years. We're still 40,000 years late. I'm 150 miles from Yellowstone (SW).

Disagree. I was told it was due every 600 million years and it has now been 640 million years. We're still 40 million years late.

Even if it was a 6000 year cycle, and it had been 6400 years, the likelihood of it occurring during our lifetime would probably be the same.
