After a 10-year-old California girl traveled to the Vatican to plead with Pope Francis for help as her father faced deportation, the man was released Friday on bond from immigration detention.
Mario Vargas was freed from a detention facility in Louisiana after he posted $5,000 bond. A relative who saw the girl on television pleading with the pope during a public audience helped with the funding, said his wife, Lola Vargas.

In Medieval times, this was called petitioning the king. If you were sympathetic enough, the king granted you what you wanted. It is an outrageous violation of the rule of law applying to all men and its the system we are moving back toward. We fought wars to move away from this.

The whole Catholic church/Illegal Alien railroad thing is nothing new. The church has added in tranpo and documents for many. many years with no concern over ‘quality’ of the beneficiary.

Why did US authorities give in?
Under present political circumstances, if I were in the 10-year old girl’s situation, I would have written a letter to Putin and ask him to make a deal with Obama — you don’t deport illegal aliens and I won’t lay claim to Alaska.
Hundreds of abandoned children, some as young as 4, are wandering the streets of Northern mexico because their POS parents deserted them to cross the border ILLEGALLY into the USA...
This is the kind of people that our POS congressfools want to give amnesty to...
