I know what you are going through, RedMDer. My husband has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer for over 18 months now. Last August he had to be hospitalized for 10 days, due to chemo side effects. He lost 28 pounds in those 10 days.
If I may suggest something, does Lynn wear a miraculous medal? Don improved by leaps and bounds after I put one on him last year. He will not go without it now. Don’s battle is far from over, but he’s still fighting, and God and the Blessed Mother are still carrying us.
I don’t know what it’s like to have cancer, but I know what it’s like to be in your shoes - to be the spouse and caregiver. God bless you.
