As far as teacher in Missouri, my wife is a teacher and every teacher she works with hates CC. One of colleagues calculated with all the testing that is required by all the flavor of the day programs, time for IAP kids, normal test, about 25% of your child's day is spent on instruction...
Of course I live in the heart of the heartland in Missouri where you have a good chance a Republican and a Christian is your teacher!
That only happens THERE...at THOSE public schools.
The PRECIOUS public schools that MY CHILDREN go to would NEVER get involved in this crap. No - their ONLY GOAL is to teach the basics. I would NEVER trust my kids to those EVIL PEOPLE that populate just about every other school, except the ones that my kids attend. Thank God that I’m so lucky to live here.

I was just at school tonight for Open School Night. I tried to explain CC to a parent. She looked at me for a second, the utter stupidity written all over her face. Then she excused herself, telling me she wanted to go register for the Dunkin’ Donuts raffle. Was not seen again. If we have more “parents” like this one, the libtards will be able to easily put this CC garbage over on the public. A chance at winning some Dunkin’ Donuts was more important to this imbecile than the proper sort of education for her kid. Pathetic!
