Barbara Boxer: Why no Viagra complaints? By: Tal Kopan March 25, 2014 11:28 AM EDT

As the Supreme Court heard arguments Tuesday about the Obamacare mandate on birth control coverage, Sen. Barbara Boxer questioned why those up in arms about the requirement have no problem with most insurance covering Viagra.

“I have never heard Hobby Lobby or any other corporation, I could be wrong, or any other boss complain that Viagra is covered in many insurance plans, practically all of them, or other kinds of things, you know, for men, which I won’t go into,” Boxer said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Jansing & Co.”

The California Democrat was discussing the lawsuit before the Supreme Court Tuesday morning arguing that companies like Hobby Lobby, which brought the suit, shouldn’t have to provide for employees’ birth control because it violates their religious beliefs.

Host Chris Jansing pressed Boxer as to whether she could compare Viagra and birth control, saying Hobby Lobby and other advocates argue that birth control is a “life issue.”

“I have never heard them put any type of moral objection, remember, this is a moral objection, to men getting Viagra, but they have a moral objection to women getting certain types of birth control,” Boxer said. “What’s their next moral objection, do they then object to vaccinations? Where do you take it from here? … There has been a well-documented study by a university that gave women free birth control for several years. Abortions went down by 50 percent, Chris. So if you are for life and want to attack this issue for abortion, this is a place we could work together and reduce the number of abortions.”

The Democrats live in fear. They are afraid that there are too many people for this world. Have you ever tried to argue with someone who is really scared? They don’t listen. They want whatever it is that is frightening them to go away. The Democrats want billions of people to go away. “Courage is the foundation of all the other virtues.” I think that cowardice is the basis of all the other vices.

I have a complaint, keep those stupid commercials off the tv. At least put the on a channel my kids and I don’t watch like Spike of Fx. You cannot watch a sporting event without talking about some boing boing enhancer every other commercial break.

Morning after pills do not kill anyone either.

Used properly, the morning after pill makes it impossible for the egg to become fertilized. It does not abort a baby.

I am not pro abortion, but there is a lot of misunderstanding about what the mAP actually does.

Sorry ma’am but I object to Viagra being part of health insurance. Next we will have to pay for porn in our policies.

“There has been a well-documented study by a university that gave women free birth control for several years. Abortions went down by 50 percent,”

Utterly meaningless unless funding sources and study author participant’s relationship with drug companies and pro choice groups are disclosed.

The normal state of both men and women is to be fertile. The difference between Viagra and birth control is that men are perscribed Viagra when they are having a physical condition that causes infertility, and it returns them to their normal fertile state. Birth control, on the other hand, takes women who are healthy and fertile and makes them infertile, which is considered an illness.

This malignant midget (hat tip to Jeff Katz) should follow the same advice given to Hollywoodenheads who try thinking on their own: Let someone else write your words.

I suspect there isn’t enough Viagra in the entire world for a man to be interested in Babs.

Does government REQUIRE that Viagra be covered?

I’m guessing Boxer’s husband needs it

Pelosi is a sexist jerk.

My bad. Babs Boxer is a sexist jerk.

All those female California Hateocrats’ ugly, twisted faces blend into one after a while, and the poisoned vomit that they spew all smells the same..”””

Just to brighten your day further:

There is a serious effort in California to split the state into 6 parts.

Therefore, more Dems like Pelosi & Boxer can be elected!!!!
