Oh, fer Pete’s sake.

Now we’re gonna be raped and murdered if we don’t buy a Volt.

Nature Climate Change recently published a paper that contends that temperate zones will see reduced crop yields by 2030

Depends on the crops.

Its late March and here in Connecticut it’s 12 degrees. Lets warm the planet as fast as possible. I’d love to grow oranges in my garden. What the hell is the problem with a warmer planet? Why is this an issue?

Lower crop yields in the United States, but higher yields in Canada.

Antiperspirants.

There will be a glowbull shortage of antiperspirants because the aluminum in them will run out.

Settled science.

Science may very well be seeing legitimate data that indicates that global climates are taking a severe turn for the worse.

However, they are pointing their fingers in the wrong direction.... God said that the end of this age would be a time of great famine worldwide.

Science blames man in order to continue it’s refusal to recognize God.

Shifting crops to appropriate climate combined with shifting crops to the climate.

These panic pieces always assume we don’t have technology, knowledge or the benefit of several thousand years worth of experience.

There's been no warming for17 years. See the following which is based on IPCCs own data....

reduced crop yields start now because Obama and the administration cut off half the water to the San Joaquin valley.

It’s snowing here is Kentucky right now and my wife is miserable. She is asking, “What happened to spring? Where are the flowers?”

Yeah, we had dormant lawns and stuff showing the past few days, then it snowed yesterday, quietly, all day, dusted everything over. Wind’s loud enough to hear right now, sounds like it’s from the NW.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Well, you see, it’s like, uh, well now, I think it’s uh, heck, I don’t have any idea WHAT that sentence means and you normally express yourself clearly so it must be my problem but uh, could you please rephrase that?

Prior to the little ice age Europe grew primarily grains as crops but the climate became colder and wetter which was a disaster for the crops and famine resulted. The people starved till they shifted to crops that grew better in the cold damp climate. Green leafy veggies and certain root crops do well in cooler wetter climates. That would be adjusting your crops to the climate.

During the last ice age the Sahara desert was grassland dotted with lakes. Pretty much ideal for grains. In a long term climate shift the grain production would be moved to places that are the right climate.

However, we grow a lot of things in arid southwestern areas where they wouldn’t grow without large scale irrigation and modification of crops. These stories are always far more panicky than they need to be.
