Michelle Obama’s hotel in China was deemed too expensive for Joe Biden

While there have been disapproving murmurs about the potential cost of first lady Michelle Obama’s trip to China, the actual cost to taxpayers has remained mere speculation.

New documents, however, reveal that the accommodations the first lady, her daughters and her mother are enjoying were too expensive for even Vice President Joe Biden back in December.

The first family and their staff of about 70 have been staying at the Westin Chaoyang Hotel, in the presidential suite, which USA Today reports costs about $8,400 a night.

According to the documents released last week by the government contracting website Federal Business Opportunities – and highlighted by the Weekly Standard — the cost of the Westin Chaoyang was too expensive for the vice president and his entourage.

RE :”Would it help if we bagged on Hill more to compensate?”

That's still sexism.

But its OK to pick on conservative women(or men), they don't count.

Sorry, but I don’t see race as an issue here.

I beleive the term might be Fronting or more precisely frontin

from the “urban” “dictionary”
frontin
Urban slang. To put up a facade or make appearances, typically to impress or in some way deceive to maintain image. From ‘to front’.

He be frontin’ - that Benz be a rental!”

Just got back from the grocery store I frequent and noticed they now carry arugula. Still won’t buy it since I have never had it.

Too expensive for Joe? They must be considering what Joe would do to mini-bar.

I've tried it...long before it was fashionable. It was served in with a house salad at a trendy restaurant. I didn't care for the texture (very weed-like), nor its bitterness.

I was being facetious.

The term I grew up with was "n----r rich".

Black men would often have a Cadillac setting outside a ramshackle shack and not have enough money to put gas in the tank.

You often observe it in their dress and choice of accessories.

I went to high school in the early sixties with guys who came to school in a gold eldorado cadillac...and often wore the famous 3 button sportcoats with only the top button buttoned...

they were the type.

Used to be, in my neck of the woods (on Long Island) a bunch of blacks would all “invest” in the Caddie, and get a chance to use it once a week, month, whatever.

Gotta keep up with Rastas Washington, ya know!

This'll make you even sicker.

NRO tallied what taxpayers are paying for M/M O to live large on the taxpayers' dime: a grand total of $1.4 billion per year: Air Force One ($181,757 per hour), executive chef ($100,000 per year), three full-time White House calligraphers ($277,050 per year for the trio), chief of staff to the president’s dog ($102,000 per year), Ohaha's royal motorcade ($2.2 million).

==========================================

$1.4 BILLION is the current annual cost of the White House — just in household expenses, not including US policy operations for which the WH exists--administered by some 900 parasites---policy staff recruited by Ohaha. There's the $100 million trip to Africa not including the foreign aid billions O handed out to these oil-rich satraps. There's serial Ohaha vacations costing taxpayers millions---- (the low estimate Hawaii vacays is $4 million each, but is probably five times that); the pricey Martha's Vineyard stays; Mrs O's costly trip to elite Marbella w/ an entourage of 30. Mrs O's $3900 PER NIGHT in a posh Ireland hotel with 30 more rooms for her entourage. $100 million alone was spent for the African apology tour.

=======================================

TAXPAYERS SUFFERED RUINOUS HEALTHCARE CANCELLATIONS--BUT THEY PAY $7 MILLION FOR THE OBAMAS HEALTHCARE---NRO found the first family’s yearly health-care costs Americans $7 million; the reason why only Boobamba himself was "enrolled" --and not his family---in a faked-up PR ploy.

Mrs O wore her pricey diamond bangles (bought on a govt salary?) at a DNC fund-raiser, attended by "tolerant and compassionate" Dems....raised big bucks to keep Mr O in office so he could work for "the poor." Her diamond Gothic cuff priced at $15,350 set with 2.17 carats in diamonds and the Quatrefoil bracelet at $11,800 set with 1.73 carats in diamonds. (Excerpt) Read more at houston.culturemap.com. Mrs O wowed all the "tolerant and compassionate" Dems who hate the rich and support endless tax-paid programs "for the poor."

Not to forget a succession of designer dresses and gowns----like the $12,000 Caroline Hereara creation worn for the Frenchy state dinner (a bribe from Obama for his blonde indiscretion at the Mandela memorial?).

===============================================

Mrs O has 24 assistants (at last count) at her beck and call. Her
wardrobe, nails and hair pieces subsidized w/ tax dollars
of struggling Americans.

Ha, Ha! Thanks for the memories, I saw a LOT of that back in the 60’s and 70’s. BIG cars were such a status symbol to them that I wondered later how they felt about the downsizing of Cadillacs. That mid-sized car isn’t a Caddy anymore, I don’t care what GM calls it.
