My Take: A Post American world will have a Russia almost as big as the old USSR, China too will be larger. Europe will be broken into 45 nations. Even South America will be broken up. Africa will belong to Russia and China. America will be five nations, Canada, three, Mexico three, Brazil four. Middle class will not be large. Islam will not be very important in this world. Vietnam, Laos, Burma will all be part of China. Much of eastern Europe, Turkey, syria will be part of Russia.
In America we will have a Presidents for life, and no rights as we know them today.
I almost agree with your bottom line. I don’t think Russia will be in Africa, barring the remote possibility of North Africa. Africa will be cut up by shakily growing Chinese authority and shakily waning European authority.
President for life in America may be in the rump US. In Dixie, such a president would have a hunting accident. We’d be back at the Celtic warlord model. Affable if possible, Hatfield and McCoy if not.
Wait. I'm confused. Don't we already have this?
