You hit the nail on the head. Sexual assault by definition doen't even have to involve physical contact, just the (perceived) threat of it.

I put perceived in parenthesis because the accuser holds all of the cards. If they feel they are a victim of sexual assault then the burden of proof is on the person being accused to prove otherwise.

That then begs the question "Where does reality begin as opposed to perception"?
