Well if I had my choice I’d rather my kid build her immunity naturally and if she gets the measles treat the measles rather than inject her with chemicals.
As she is an adult and has to make career/ministry/travel decisions, she can decide what she should do, but her immune system should be able to take it.
Millions of folks tried to build a natural immunity to various diseases before modern vaccines. And it only killed a sizable percent of them.
I’d rather not see millions suffer and die because they don’t like needles.
Your immune system cannot tell the difference between "natural" immunity caused by exposure to the live disease, and "unnatural" immunity caused by exposure to the dead disease. I made sure my son built up his immunity by exposing him to inactivated viruses and parts of bacteria. Not only is he immune, but he never had to suffer a horrible, potentially life-threatening, brain-damage inducing disease to become immune.
