Well I HAVE heard a freight train and it is incredibly loud and makes the ground shake. My dogs would have been hiding under the bed.

‘s OK. Fresno is in the central valley, east of the San Andreas fault, no? Chances are you’ll still be with us, and with beachfront property.

Just have to watch out for whole that Lassen-Mono-Inyo volcanic thing...

Not pretty is it?
There has been a lot of noise on Low frequency lately, let’s hope it is just indigestion.

Well, maybe you could get on the side that won’t fall into the ocean and give that other side a really big push.

Or maybe the earthquake center got hit by a decrease in funding,.

And the server itself is in the Frisco area i believe.

Frisco is in Texas.

You couldn't possibly mean San Francisco?

Every earthquake is both a foreshock and an aftershock.

This is why I stayed in Fresno. When the present coast falls into the Pacific Ocean, I will have beach front retirement property, and I like to surf!

I lived in Chile for over 5-years...amazing how worked up everyone in Calif gets when there is a little 4.4M bump.

I recall a 6.8 in La Serena, Chile...when the books started falling off the shelves, I walked out my office door and was amazed at my Toyota pickup truck bouncing all over the place and our 60-foot radio antennae looking like a buggy whip.

There was seldom a week that went by that we didn’t feel a quake. We used to have an office pool where we would estimate the magnetude with the closest guess winning a couple of bottles of wine.

“No problem, lets hope the New Mexican drought lasts another 40 years after being struck by a 1/8 mile wide asteroid.”

As long as the asteroid hits the imported liberal-infested Sante Fe, I’m all good with that.
