Obastard and jihadis (but I repeat myself) are the greatest danger to our country. If we had a government even halfway constitutional we wouldn’t need to worry about Putin. But we have an administration dedicated to the destruction of the US and an “opposition” party that are on board, enablers, or blackmailed cowards.
I don’t see Putin trying to overthrow the US or start a war.

I agree with your concerns but I would add that government run Russian TV today broadcast the message that "we (Russia) will turn America into Radioactive Ashes".
That gets my attention.
