Why would Iran go to this trouble to steal a plane when they have planes?

Iran would have a much harder time getting an Iranian plane into the US with a nuke than an American plane..I bet you that this Malaysian 777 is being equip with all the nukes necessary to destroy a few city blocks right now..it wouldnt have any issue entering the US..Israel, forget about it, its not gonna happen..but entering the US, yeah I can see that happening..or hitting another Target that would affect America greatly

What I am going to say will sound racist, but if you stop and think about everything that has happened since 9-11, it won’t.

It doesn’t make sense to Westerners because folks from the Middle East don’t think like us. It is that simple.

Perhaps a more interesting question would be: why that type of plane? Any airliner could carry any size nuke, if that were the plan.

Further: does Iran have any 777s in its airline fleet? If not, perhaps it was taken to steal the communications tech, which after research could be hacked to bad effect on other 777s - after all, Iran is credited with taking control of one of the US’s most advanced stealth drones. Seems like there ought to be easier ways to do this, but then, who knows what Iran might be thinking.

As for a likely target, after Israel, and before the US, Iran has said it intends to destroy the Vatican ...
