My reading of the article is that the beer company which distributes Sam Adams pulled its sponsorship because the parade won’t let gay groups march. Then the bar promptly said it would boycott Sam Adams. Meaning the bar appears to support the parade organizers, and not the gay groups.

It’s a St Patrick’s parade. Nothing to to homos, alternative lifestyles, etc. I side with the parade group in their decision to keep the focus on the intent and traditions of the event. I’m sure they will...but that is not the point. The gay rights crowd is hijacking a St. Patricks Day parade to further their agenda. Anyone who doesn’t support the hijacking is being painted as a bigot.
