JetBlue, American Airlines end frequent flyer agreement [After Obama approved MERGER]

JetBlue and American Airlines are ending an agreement that allowed travelers to add connections to their itinerary on each other's aircraft, as well as a frequent flyer program agreement. JetBlue travelers can no longer earn miles on AA-operated flights.

So Obama and Holder approve AA's merger with US Airways, lessening competition. The result, thanks to the crony capitalism of the Democrat party is FEWER ROUTES, LESS COMPETITION, and DECREASED SERVICES in the industry.

On a recent JetBlue flight, I overheard two stewards discussing the impending unionization of cabin crews.

We can add a 10% price increase to JB fares in the near term.

If you do a little research, you will find a number of airline mergers that occurred during republican adminstrations that had the same effect.

Haven't flown in 5 years, although I just made reservations to Vegas.
While doing pre-reservation research, my impression is that there aren't any services left to decrease.

I actually looked at taking the train, but when I tried to find one, the Amtrak reservation system was down.
Gubmint computer system not working, hmmmm, where have I heard that before?
Also discovered Amtrak doesn't do Vegas ... go figure.

Amtrak has connecting bus service to Las Vegas from Salt Lake, Bakersfield, Los Angeles etc.

I want reciprocity with Malaysian Air, so I can avoid NSA scrutiny and then start a new life. My current status is up in the air.
