That was tried in 1994 by some hammer swinging head case aboard a FedEx flight out of Memphis. The hijacker is now in federal prison and the three FedEx pilots no longer fly because of the injuries sustained during the attempted takeover.

He was a Fedex employee. He wanted to do a kamikaze run against Fedex HQ. Almost pulled it off, the wounded pilot rolled the bird. Saw the reenactment on TV. Surprised he didn't rip the wings off.
