~and aged, well aged beef for steaks.

~along with sundry other interesting and expensive delectables, meat based, yes.

We need to engineer some "population behavior changes" among agents, employees and elected/unelected officials of the US feral government.

Terminal population behavior changes.

If someone mentions carbon footprint in an un-ironic way, they lose my attention, immediately, because I assume they’re ignorant, or have an socialist agenda, or both.

I wasn't familiar with the term "food swamps". I had to google it: Areas thick with fast-food joints and convenience stores.

To me, the term "food swamps" are much more important to understanding the poverty/obesity link than the term "food deserts".

That’s just what we need — government control over all personal behavior, such as what and when we eat, exercise or not and what the government considers “appropriate exercise”, how much we sleep, and so on.

Looks like they are planning to turn the US into one giant prison, where the government will control us 24/7 — all for our own good, of course.
