why not. fixated teen boys can rape. there can be obssessed boys who stalk. he could know her, but she may not know him.
given the 9-11 call and the fact they were avingsome kind of dialogue, with the kid mouthing off/geting angry at the dad, i’d say the dad was not out of control with desire to shoot the kid. only when he moved for something quickly did the guy fire. and if someone did that in my house under the exact same circumstances’i’d have shot him too. you don’t have to wait until whatever they are reaching for is aimed at or slicing at you. the kid being an idiot and the daughter lying are the reasons that kid is dead.

Because if an unarmed teenage rapist showed up in her room in the middle of the night, she probably would have made some noise to alert someone, or said something to her brother that came into the room, rather than hiding the “rapist” under the bed.
