Now They Tell Us… Sebelius Admits Health Care Premiums Will Increase Under Obamacare

President Obama repeatedly promised Obamacare would reduce insurance premiums by $2,500 per year.

He made this promise at least 22 times.

Today Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted health insurance rates will increase under Obamacare. The Daily Mail reported:

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told House Ways and Means Committee members on Wednesday that she expects health insurance rates to increase as the Affordable Care Act takes full effect.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that when you add 30-50 million uninsured people to the rolls that someone has to pay for it.

Insurance has always been predicated and calculated using actuarial statistics. That means they use real-life numbers of incidents per 1000 to determine the likelihood of having to pay a claim. The ONLY way they could keep the tables working was to eliminate a portion of the population with PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS.

Insurance WAS a business. Now "health care" has become a political term for health insurance, and they have changed the formula to include anybody that will pay a premium. Unfortunately, there is now not enough money available to pay the bills... but they knew that before they destroyed a perfectly good BUSINESS MODEL!

Lies and damnable lies. Obama is the king! Pelosi/Reid are the enablers along with all the rest of the Rinos and Dims...

Some FReepers like to claim superiority because they have chosen to stay in Amerika. I now live in the Philippines. They openly disdain anybody that chooses to live elsewhere. I chose to live where my meager SS income can support a decent lifestyle, and I can live in comfort until that runs out. We (my Filipina wife and I) are starting a pizzeria and coffee shop, and plan to bank it so we can live when the American dream disappears in smoke...

At least here, you know the corruption here is blatant and the politicians openly pay for votes. No Obamaphones here. Only 1000Ph pesos direct payments in cash (44.5p=1USD today) will buy a vote! That will buy about 24 kilos of rice (43 pesos will buy 1 kilo) and feed a family for a couple of months... and Lechon Baboy is 300p per kilo!
