I am glad. I hope this teen has learned her lesson and things work out for the best for this family.

Nothing like a little reality slapping you in the face.

I hope things work out too . . . but I laughed out loud when I saw this. So, the girl’s attorney — her BFF’s daddy, whom she was living with — saw the potential gravy train dry up? And suddenly the girl sees the light and returns home?

Uh huh. I get it.

I hope the parents were smart enough to get her to agree to earn her keep and possibly pay them back for the legal costs incurred by her moronic decision to take them to court. Probably not, though.

...In celebration, the father and daughter played beer pong until the wee morning hours.

Just kidding. Good ending, I hope, to an ugly story. Thanks for posting.

I doubt it.

She is probably dropping her lawsuit after her attorney advised her there was no way she could win, and that he would no longer be offering his services pro bono.

But, I'll predict she is back out on her own as soon as she graduates from high school. She'll go through her "college fund" quickly and find herself working for a minimum wage job.

After she finds out what it is like to barely pay the rent, groceries, utilities, and gas each month -- and otherwise be completely broke, she'll realize that she screwed up her best chance for a decent life.

Then, she might be ready to make a change.

I would be dropping her off at the nearest Army recruitment center.

Good.

I hope she begged for forgiveness.

Her parents are dumb. I would get her as far away as possible.
She has a plan to take her parents money.

The parent of her friend that paid for her suit and undermined this girls parental rights should be made public pariahs for the rest of their lives!!!

Unfathomable, sure honey let me get a lawyer to help you sue your parents for you being a brat. At the end of the day those people are the problem!

I remember my dad telling this story:

2 farmers are talking over the fence about how one’s son had broken his dad's heart again getting into trouble. The neighbor said to the boys dad, “If he was my son I'd kick him out of the house.” The father thought for a moment and said, “You know, if he was your son I'd kick him out too.”

Hard for me to judge the parents without more information, but I'm thinking that the next time we hear of this girl she'll be making porn to pay for college.

I worked in a facility where a 16 yr old boy, who was quite disturbed, made a false accusation of molestation against his father. He was encourated to do it by a female classmate in order to get more freedom and to be able to be on his own.

The charges were proven to be false but, the family was terrified of what else could happen if the boy came home. I am not sure what happened afterwards but they were never a normal family again.

After the things she said about her parents and the embarrassment she brought to the family, her parents should have told her to go pound salt.

This is just a pause in her downfall. Look for her “Vivid Video” resume in about 10 years.

Don’t all foster children get kicked to the curb at 18?

Just think, a ruling in her favor would have impacted the foster care scenario and we all would be paying for foster children beyond 18 - probably until 26.

It’s not going to happen.
