According to emails obtained by National Review Online, the U.S. National Park Service employees were also constantly monitoring the news for any negative media attention. Moreover, the emails show that government shutdown exceptions were granted to National Park Service employees.

It is up to the Republican leadership to go around the media, hold press conferences, become firebrands etc. to highlight the administration’s contempt for the military.They were busy being bipartisan, enjoying their perks, getting drunk or whatever. They never mentioned this issue and were AWOL.
If the repub leadership behaves this way (AWOL) when they have an issue handed to them, why should we think things are ever going to get better?

It was peeing in the face of the America Obama despises (and his wife isn’t proud of); he represents (and was elected twice by) an America that has no problem with any of his actions.
