Unfortunately, law enforcement attracts people who want power and control. They make very enthusiastic employees.

My sister worked for Air Force OSI and said they’d try to screen these people out. She asked candidates why they wanted the job and sometimes they’d say things like, “I want to bust people.” But what I’ve noticed about law enforcement over the last thirty years is they seem to have lost quality control over who they take. If you recruit not the best, but by a quota you have to take what you can get. The same is true when government contractors are essentially forced to hire x% of people from various classes and pay them equal money to more qualified candidates. The root problem here is PC in government.

What if they WANT thugs who will follow orders to do bad things to middle-class Americans when the time comes?
