Runoffs rarely turn out well for incumbents.

I agree in general they are relative low turnout but this one has a little different
make up in that five of the top statewide office holders are in runoffs (four of the
five aren’t incumbents}. So that may make for a slightly elevated turnout. But if
Patrick can get his voters to the polls he should win.

Statewide races include the following:
Lieutenant Governor
Attorney General
Comptroller of Public Accounts - Hegar got 49.99%
Commissioner of Agriculture
Railroad Commissioner

Harvey Hilderbran has withdrawn so there will not be a runof in the Comptroller’s race.

Hegar won by default, as Hilderbrand withdrew from a runoff.

For me it’s Patrick, Paxton, Miller, and Christian in the runoff.
