Yes, indeed - the infamous Capt. Sum Ting Wong allowed that plane to hit the seawall on short final/flare out. NOT the fault of the aircraft, as the article sort of implies. The Turd World Airline training was at fault, not the aircraft.
I forgot to note the most important fact regarding those passenger fatalities - they were run over by fire/rescue vehicles.
