CPA’s and attorneys do not now do productive work when they are taking care of tax-related matters.

There would be a huge dislocation for these folks of course, but in the long run it would be vastly better for the country as a whole.

And likely for many of them as well over time.

Productive work instead of wasted effort on byzantine governmental compliance. Always the better choice.

That is a most perceptive comment, muffaletaman. Thank you for noticing!

When I give presentations about FairTax, I state, unequivocally, that “CPAs and tax attorneys will be much happier when they can spend ALL their time doing what they have been trained for; helping their clients manage their assets productively. Not only that, they will increase their incomes and have a much better sex life, particularly in January, February, March and April!”
