That idiot Kim Brimer (her state senate predecessor) sat on his lazy ass and let her take his seat away from him (and us!)
They voted for a Hispanic Democrat in heavily Hispanic border counties. The fact that she won any of these is interesting. Her opponent had very high name recognition down on the border.
DO NOT interpret that her lack of support was based on her abortion stance. It was race-based politics, nothing else.
