The only question that maters is, “How many uninsured are there now, versus before ObamaCare?

The 47 million, the 47 million, the 47 million uninsured, the 47 million uninsured ... THAT was the rationale for ObamaCare ... so, how many uninsured do we have now?

As you point out, THAT is the only important question.

The most recent national numbers I can find are about 1 month old.

3.1 million - under age 26, added to parent's policy by law.

2 million - new to Medicaid, about 4 million more renewed Medicaid.

Unknown Number - 3 million have signed up for ObamaCare policies, but how many were not insured before is not known.

So, maybe 6 million new people are now insured.

Only 40 million to go!
