I still say that having a Republican majority is BETTER than having a Democratic majority.
Having said that, I also say that we need more REAL CONSERVATIVE Republicans in the majority, not the ones we had when Bush was President before 2006.

It’s not better if the kenyan goes off unhinged and the opposition is McConnell and Boehner. He’s somewhat restrained now, unbelievable as it sounds, with a split Congress. A unified GOP congress might be too juicy of a target for him to pass up.

A gifted liar is one who makes it difficult to discern when he’s lying. McConnell is not a gifted liar.
If we got him a majority in the Senate he would:
Not pursue overturning Obamacare
Not pursue impeachment
Not cut spending
Not...do anything worthy of being called Conservative

Muzzle loader reminds me of the dumb liberal argument that we should keep muzzle loaders legal as the people who wrote the 2nd amendment only had those and couldn’t foresee cartidge guns. So they say we should ban ALL guns EXCEPT muzzle loaders....
If McConnell suddenly sees the light and holds his ground against anything that promotes big government or unconstitutional activities, then he will earn my respect.
I expect this kind of leadership ALL the time, not just when his political career is threatened.
He needs to go, no matter what change of heart he has, to set an example for the rest of Congress.
