IF I would ever be called into the IRS, I would plead the fifth to my dying day. Problem is, the average law-abiding citizen in this country would never put themselves in a situation to plead the fifth. We obey the law, unlike the government.

You (and every other American tax payer) give up your 5th amendment right every time you submit a U.S. tax return signed under penalty of perjury.
