If Russian forces do start to act in the Crimea region, it would be only to stabilize the situation in the region and prevent any guerrilla warfare from developing into confrontations of a larger scale, Mark Sleboda, senior lecturer at the department of international relations at Moscow State University told the Voice of Russia in an exclusive interview.

You gotta admit, there really good at this stuff.
Putin/Crimea = Hitler/Sudentenland
They’re.
Damn lunchtime drinking.
If the situation wasn’t so serious, it would be funny. And people fall for this stuff, which should be astounding to any sentient human being.
Ahhhhh. In Obonics it would be, “If you like your sovereignty, you can keep it.”
What if the Ukrainians in the east want to have an alliance with Russia, but don't want to be reabsorbed?
What if there are all sorts of competing criminal gangs in the Ukraine that will continue to fight among themselves regardless of what Russia does?
Giving Russia a free hand in the Ukraine may have similar results to what happened when they went into Afghanistan, or what happened when we went into Afghanistan.
And amusing it was. Ignore our take over of a neighboring country. Nothing to see here. Move along
Hey, people fell for “If you like your healthcare plan, then you can keep your healthcare plan. Period.”
Putin goes to his Prisons finds the worst of the worst ,hires them as mercenaries and sends them in first
Obama has exposed the low information American voter bloc for all the World to see. In the World court of public opinion this can be a useful bloc. If Putin can gather that bloc as supporters of his “noble and compassionate cause”, then the superpower that was once America, can be hamstrung, and made politically inpotent, and unable to contest his annexation now, and those to come.
Let's save British Columbia from Quebec
Those francophones are a hot headed type.
Always stirring up sedition.
It might improve the roads to Alaska /sarc
Stalin attempted to starve them to death.
Holodomor. He didn't just "attempt;" he succeeded.
Regards,
There is one thing that I haven’t seen posted yet when it comes to Russo-Ukrainian social dynamics.
In the 1930’s Soviet leadership decided that they had to break the historical backbone of Ukrainian society - their farmers - through famine. Like Hitler’s genocide against the Jews in Europe, this political act received its own name - Holodomor. The death estimates for the period 1932-33 range between 1.8 and 12 million; on a par with Hitler’s Holocaust.
Too bad American liberal media of that era and today will not honestly report of the rejection of outside aid, confiscation of all household foodstuffs, and restriction of population movement all of which identify a controlling, centralized, political intent. BTW the contemporary American Dust Bowl (mid 1930s) had a different political intent behind it and a very small death toll.
Like the Middle East and the Balkans, what happens in the Ukrainian region will be determined by its history. Unfortunately a history based on politically driven mass deaths.
Obama asked his card playing buddies what he should do about Putin and the Ukrain( i gradiated from pubic skrool so don’t spell so gut) They suggested Why not send in Conan the Barbarian—or if he’s busy at a book signing a certain former Governor from California might be interested in a new Hollywood Script.
Voice of Russia? I thought it was from the White House...
It's getting harder and harder to stay sober.
I believe the Russians believe this, sincerely.
