But how could gibberish end up in respectable science papers? The man who discovered the recent frauds said it showed slipping standards among scientists.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Science has become so politicized and mercenary that I view much of what is reported with a healthy skepticism.

Pulled years later? IOW, the editors don’t edit.

But are they peer-reviewed by other word processors?

Can't help but wonder how many of those junk papers touted AGW (aka "Climate Change")...

More importantly..... how many times have these gibberish papers been cited in later research by allegedly non gibberish papers ?

But how could gibberish end up in respectable science papers? The man who discovered the frauds (computer scientist Cyril Labbe) has no explanation as to why the journals published meaningless papers. The publishers also could not explain it, admitting that the papers are all nonsense.
I would blame it on global warming.

Gabby Johnson disagrees.
Sciencecpapers may be gibberish, but they are good enough to keep the grants rolling in.

Wow, just two decades ago, the peer review process for respected journals was very painstaking and thorough. I have noticed a lot of new journals popping up that are not so well respected, and I wonder if that is where these are cropping up.
