I apologize to you if my words bring you anger or strife, and for any hurt you feel in our discussion. Truly, I’m somewhat socially inept and as a result the dryness of my comments might seem harsh or condescending. I don’t mean for this to happen.

If you’re still interested, here’s my view: the Son was sent to glorify the Father, and to atone for the sins of mankind through his blood on the cross. Any portrayal of Jesus must include these and other major attributes of him, otherwise the portrayal is false.
To put it in perspective, would be sort of like writing a biography of Mother Theresa and leaving out any mention of her Roman Catholic background, and totally excluding her work with the sick and the poor.
