I have read your last post a few times. When a candidate changes his stance on any issue, one has to wonder how strong of a leader he might be. Changing a stance on abortion is the worst, because it is a thinly veiled attempt to win votes on either side of the issue. Abortion is one of he worst crime of humanity that will exist in my lifetime.

I will say that the Democrats use it as a trap, where it is hard for a GOP candidate navigate through. If they decide to have a strong anti-abortion stance then they can quickly point out that they are part of the “war on women”. If they are pro-abortion then nationally a GOP candidate loses its base. Being pro-abortion in Massachusetts, considering its voting demographics was a winning formula for Romney. I think he conveniently changed his stance to win over conservatives nationally.

I cannot say what his real belief on abortion really is. Ideally his Mormon faith and his commitment to it, should have shown to everyone he has a strong moral compass and that he also believe it is a travesty. I believe that he does. Unfortunately he also tries to say whatever he thinks people want to hear to continue gaining political power for the Presidency. Perhaps we would have finally saw the real Romney, but we would have all had to wait until his second term.

Sometimes, I wonder what most in the DNC really believes about abortion. I have my doubts that even if Romney or any President takes office there is little they can do about the matter except appoint as many anti-abortion judges as possible.

If you read my post then you know that Romney has been pro-abortion all of his life, he didn't adopt the position because of Massachusetts.

The entire Romney family has been pro-abortion since at least 1963, and BISHOP Romney, Temple Mormon Romney, is not in disagreement with his religion over abortion, the Romney family immigrated to America to serve Joseph Smith in 1842, and are Mormon royalty and leaders.

You might not want to admit what his abortion position is, but there is no way that you can't know it.

Romney-August 2012-CBS interview
""PELLEY: Well, the platform as written at this convention for the Republicans does not allow for exceptions on abortion with regard to the health of the mother or rape or incest. Is that where you are?

ROMNEY: No. My position has been clear throughout this campaign. I’m in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother.""

Mitt Romney on his family
"""My position has been the same throughout my political career, and it goes back to the days of 1970,” he said. “There was a woman who was running for political office, U.S. Senate. She took a very bold and courageous stand in 1970, and that was in a conservative state. That was that a woman should have the right to make her own choice as to whether or not to have an abortion. Her name was Lenore Romney, she was my mom. Even though she lost, she established a record of courage in that regard."""

Romney left the GOP because of Reagan, here he is fund raising for Planned Parenthood.
