I’ve noticed that too, especially in the tattoos and piercings bunch. Also, they are reactionary-anything which conservatives support, their knee-jerk reaction is to oppose. Yet they still think, seeing things through a 60s prism which isn’t even their own, that they are the iconoclasts. These days, being a conservative is revolutionary-after all, who is the establishment now?

I remember Larry King asking the late Dennis Hopper why a counter culture guy like him would consider himself a conservative.

Hopper's response was 'this is Hollywood. Being conservative makes me the free spirit'.

Larry just grunted. He obviously didn't get it.
