I wouldn't count on it. The black nationalist crowd that once owned Detroit are fading and seeking more favorable cities. Even noted black nationalist Kwame Kenyatta resigned his spot on the Detroit city council and went to work for the black nationalist mayor of Jackson Mississippi.
Even Calypso Louie doesn't hold sway on the street in Detroit anymore.
