I have finally realized why so many of the general “non-technical” population are supporting global warming — it has little to do with some complex theory that they don’t understand.
From their perspective, it has to do with something that humanity in general can rally around — saving the planet and ultimately ourselves.
And if you dissagree than you are against something akin to world peace.
Also, most people don’t want to be bothered with the complexities of the theory. It is too complex. So they beleive in it without question.
Ditto and bump.
Let me simplify it for you.
-Globall warming is a danger to our future.
-Human carbon emissions need to be drastically reduced to ‘save our future’.
-Ergo, to save our future the population needs to be drastically reduced.
Globall warming is a call for genocide.

It has become a new religion to them. Those who consider God to be an antiquated notion. Those who accept "science" over the "myths that make up religion".
Western man is the original sinner. Natives and savages and "indigenous people" never harmed the planet.
Capitalists have exploited the wealth of the globe and live higher on the hog than anyone else. They must NOW pay their fair share through confiscatory redistribution. Tithing to the Third World under the guise of "carbon credits".
If you do not believe in their god Al Gore (who studied theology in college), you are a heretic. A "denier". One who must be shunned.
