As I understand it, the Obama Press Laws are still going to be implemented, just a little later. The delay gives the dust time to settle and blackmail a few more media types into giving loud support.
The Republicans said little and did nothing except continue to bash Conservatives and the Tea Party.
If the Conservatives had a functioning power base, they could be giving awards and public appearance opportunities to media types who expose the fascist fist behind the Obama glove. But the cowardly reporters have no incentive to make waves as they have no political support, protection or motivation to speak the truth.
