Why on earth would I support ousting the number two Republican in the US Senate, especially when he also happens to be the Senator from the Great State of Texas? Because Texas needs someone that will lead on conservative issues and understands that if you want to be considered a Texan, it is better to act like one than to spend millions of dollars on television and radio ads telling us that you are one. Besides, exactly how has Texas benefited since our guy has been the number two man?
One man stands out among the candidates trying to oust Sen. John Cornyn. That man is Dwayne Stovall.
You may not have heard of him because he doesnt have a billionaire in San Francisco giving him hundreds of thousands of dollars to run his own ads. But what he does have is a whole bunch of grassroots supporters and a whole bunch of integrity. Will it be enough to overcome the massive spending of Big John or the free publicity that whacky Steve Stockman is getting? Doesnt matter. This is a primary and in the primary, I vote for the person that I think is closest to my conservative Republican philosophy and that man is Dwayne Stovall.
I think that Stovall hit the nail on the head with this video.

so do you plan on voting for him from Mass?
“so do you plan on voting for him from Mass?”
No, my goal is to remove John Cornyn from the US Senate.
” - - - Read about Dwayne Stovalls political beliefs:
I am a [r]epublican (little r), which means I am for limited government.
I have Jeffersonian principles. That means I take the Constitution as written and amended.
I am a true conservative.
My political views derive from a deep respect for the founding generation.
What they fought for, in the way of Independence and liberty, is not lost on me. The founding principle of liberty resonates with everyone, regardless of party affiliation or cultural differences.
I am compelled to do this because the Republic, created with the ratification of the Constitution of the United States, no longer exists. The government we were gifted, founded on the principles of federalism, republicanism, and limited government has long since declined into an unlimited National Government based in socialism. Im a proud Texan that refuses to remain silent while tyranny grows and liberty is destroyed. - - - - “
These are words to vote for.
“Johnny Corn” has deeds to vote against.
Stovall is the youngest of the 3 main Candidates, which gives us the potential of the longest Conservative political run for our votes.
I would be more impressed if someone from Texas gave their opinion on who the best candidate is. I know there are number of people in the primary. I know I don’t like Cornyn. Stockman I have heard.

I’m not giving my opinion. I do a daily search for stories for both Stockman and Stovall and post what I find. I also do occasional searches for Linda Vega but there never are any, nor are there any for the other candidates.
Stovall and Stockman have become the two top candidates against Cornyn. My goal is to make as many people (especially those in Texas) aware of their names to literally drive Cornyn below 50% so Texas can get a new senator, and republican senators, a new leader.
I'm personally voting for Stovall, but anyone but Cornyn works to keep him under 50%.

This strategy is correct. And count me as aTX voter for Stovall.
It's getting interesting, building on the turtle analogy.
Early voting starts tomorrow and, sadly, I plan to vote against certain candidates, rather than for anyone special. Will vote for anyone running against Cornyn, Carona, and Dewhurst.
I’m voting For Stovall tomorrow early in the morning, want to get things started right.
got it. sincerest apologies for being the nit wit I am. You are obviously doing yeoman’s work and I should have just been grateful and left it alone.
mea culpa
roger that
roger that
Consensus is Stockman has baggage that Cornyn will bring up in a runoff....I haven’t heard anything detrimental about Stovall....yet!!! At this point I’m with Stovall!!!

No problem. I’ve had any number of people get suspicious when they see I’m from MA. But there are conservatives here, and other than the book I wrote, this is the most I can do to help.
Yep.
.
Looks like several TEA groups have endorsed Stovall.
Dan Patrick is getting a couple of TEA endorsements, too. And so is Paxton. I’d prefer Staples over Dan Patrick. Paxton seems to be a good guy, from what little I’ve read about him.
Any other suggestions? Thanks.
