Conservatives stop ceding education to liberals. We need to break up the education monopoly.

Part of the problem is that you have doctorate level socialists designing the curriculum.
There is some new goofy teaching methodology every year. Some of it is way out there like tools of the mind. Another was investigations math. And it goes on and on.
The new one is common core.
Worst of all, the kids are treated as little experiments. Guinea pigs for some new program. And if a new program fails the kids, so sorry. Actually, there is never an admission of failure.
The so call highly educated elites in education overlook one very simple fact: children with poor parents and families struggle.
I don't care who is in charge of the education system and how much money is spent on it you can't fix stupid.
The real problem is that these people can vote and sit on juries. I think everyone should have to take a citizenship test when they turn eighteen whether they were born here or not. The first question on the test should be: Does the Sun orbit the Earth.
