How long until we start seeing ads from the left saying that they want to “Close the Article V loophole that the Tea Party wants to use to take away all your rights”....

Accuweather.com maps now showing the leading edge about 25 miles south of PA line, overspreading the VA & MD areas steadily.

I’m glad I don’t have to plow the Farm Complex anymore, or any of the surrounding lanes, streets and roads. Being out all night in blizzards and whiteouts was getting old after 22yrs, even in heavy/comfy equipment.

I don’t doubt that they’ll try that tactic, soon. They’re already positioning us as the ‘evil overlords’ of the GOP:

Accuweater.com has two different ways to look at the map IIRC. I wonder if you are seeing something different because weather.com’s map still says it’s 2 hours south.

I think what Abe says from the "other side" backs what Levin is saying.

The fault is ours. Abe explains:

If you could first know where you are and whither you are tending, you could better judge what to do and how to do it. You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.

The question today is either the opponents of statism will arrest the further spread of it and place it on course of ultimate extinction, or its advocates will push it forward till it shall become permanent.

Have you no tendency to the latter condition?

Let anyone who doubts carefully contemplate that now almost complete legal combination — piece of machinery, so to speak — compounded of the Republican Party hands-across-the-aisle doctrine and the dreadful actions among statism's chief architects.

Have a look here:

http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/east-york-pa/17402/weather-radar/2216294

and here:

http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/virginia/weather-radar

Looks like it’s right at the PA line now.

Two ways to look at their map? How’s that work? There’s static and active modes, but I can’t find any others...

Yeah, accuweather.com says we are getting snow and we’re not.

As far as their map I must have been thinking of weather underground.com that has two ways to see their map.

The leading edge of the storm usually doesn’t have much in it, but the darker bluer areas are farther south, in your neck of the woods. Nothing here yet.

I’ve got these on Opera Speed Dial:

AccuWeather.com
NOAA.com
NWS.com
WGAL.com
WUnderground.com
Weather.com

For some reason, I don’t use WU much since I had the Farm Contracting Construction Business. Seems confusing and disjointed, compared to the others, since Weather Channel bought it. I’ll have to spend some time with it and get reacquainted.

That map’s nowhere close to the other maps I’m watching in various open windows, in a 10min delay. RADAR is RADAR is RADAR, so I wonder why there are such discrepancies between the weather services. Duh.

8:00pm; now it’ caught-up to the other maps. It hadn’t refreshed itself. I’d reloaded the page, but that didn’t work.

I took weather underground.com off my favorites for exactly the same reason. Too confusing and disjointed. I dropped accuweather.com because they were so wrong on their temperatures all the time...they were off 5° constantly. If they get that wrong what else? Like Mark said it just started snowing 20 minutes ago. Small flakes so far.

He was good, but I couldn’t understand some of his points. Too bad. Mark was being courteous.

Something pet-centric for your FR page:

“Dear Dogs and Cats:

The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn’t help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort, however. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximise space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat’s butt. I cannot stress this enough.

Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:

TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR PETS:

(1) They live here. You don’t.

(2) If you don’t want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That’s why they call it ‘fur’-niture.

(3) I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.

(4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don’t speak clearly.

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

(1) eat less,
(2) don’t ask for money all the time,
(3) are easier to train,
(4) normally come when called,
(5) never ask to drive the car,
(6) don’t hang out with drug-using people,
(7) don’t smoke or drink,
(8) don’t want to wear your clothes,
(9) don’t have to buy the latest fashions,
(10) don’t need a gazillion dollars for college, and
(11) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

The Mgmt (sort of...)”

<(;^{O~)

I LIKE IT! Can we use it? Is it from Mark’s site? Did you make it in PS? Wish I could still do stuff like that.

I just threw it together with Adobe PhotoDeluxe.
Use it if you like. If you don’t want to use it, it won’t hurt my feelings.
