This is quite bizarre. I presume SOS Kerry is unaware that, in Israel, even the little kids know the sound of "real bullets", rockets too. And in government, well, combat vets aren't as rare as they are here.
Since his presumably informed, though bizarre, criticism is directed at Naftali Bennett, it's worth noting that we don't know if Bennett has been under fire. And probably won't, since his active duty and ongoing reserve service included serving in the Sayeret Matkal and Maglan special ops units. Naftali has served in Lebanon, but I'll bet he's never been to Cambodia for Christmas.

Yes and I hear he got the Purple heart in the Republic of Vietnam—before he went on national TV and declared he had known of and had participated in WAR CRIMES when in the Republic of Vietnam. Or its’neighboring territory. He even tossed something over a chain link fence in the City of Washington as a young Navy Officer Against the War. Wanted America to think those were his combat ribbons —until he found it convenient to claim they really belonged to someone else. I remember those images. I was a young US Army Medic. I thought him a Liar and a Traitor then— Have seen nothing since to suggest otherwise. Either way I seem to recall reading something somewhere about a Curse they bring down upon themselves when they seek to divide the Land The Lord of host gave to his people as their inheritance? I don’t think Kerry is macho man enough to doge the wrath of the Almighty.
