Doh! Miami NBC calls state GOP "Reprehensive Party." RPOF wants on-air apology
The Florida GOP demanded Friday that a Miami NBC affiliate issue an on-air apology after the station referred to the party as "the Reprehensive Party of Florida" in a broadcast.
The error surfaced when WTVJ aired a segment that featured a Republican Party web ad bashing Democratic candidate for governor Charlie Crist in an ad that accuses him of politically running away from Florida when the economy went south.
Accident or not, the spot needs to be corrected, Republican Party of Florida Chairman Lenny Curry wrote the station's president and vice president.

Trade blow for blow and let the people decide which characterizations are accurate.
I'm pretty sure the progressives would come out of that fight worse for wear.
Forget apologies. We should go back to demanding satisfaction in the traditional manner.

Recent poll puts Charlie Crist ahead of Scott. Looks like we’re getting to many N/E retirees here. ??? Control the Press you control the minds. With 90% of the Press on the left, what can you expect? Too many Liberal opinion reporters are being taken as truth providers. So, how many Republicans do you think are in the Miami, Dade, Plam Beach and Broward areas, not counting Alan West and some Cubans?
Shoulda called them the stupid party. Truth is an absolute defense against charges of slander and libel...
If they didn’t want to be known as the Reprehensive Party they wouldn’t act so reprehensible.
In the last election I saw more Romney signs in North Broward and Bica than Obama. But in south Broward I know one element that braggedabout voting in early election, mail in ballot and on election day. Three for o.e baby.
I think the low level staff puke meant “reprehensible”. But what do I know?
