Radio and TV personality Glenn Beck says he has buried the hatchet with fellow conservative talk radio powerhouses Sean Hannity and Mark Levin and that they are coming together to activate their “Wonder Twin powers.”
Beck spoke about his relationship with the two rival radio show hosts on his show Thursday, saying that they have discovered they were being fed “lies” about each other to diminish their power.
“There is a stupid feud, and the three of us, Sean and Mark and I, have talked about it and we know where it came from and we know who was feeding us lies about each other,” Beck said Thursday. “And this individual just expected that we would, that if they fed us enough lies about each other, we would never talk to each other, and that way he would be able to divide us and keep the tea party movement at bay and control it as much as he could or destroy it. And we were foolish, and all of us have said to each other … ‘Man, how stupid were we? How did we not see that one?’”
Beck did not name the person he accused of spreading lies. Beck said after continuous messages from his audience that he should be on the same side as Levin and Hannity rather than in competition with them, the three connected and realized they should work together.
“If talk radio begins to move together and we all understand … everybody plays a different role and each of us have an important piece,” Beck said, reading a note he wrote to Levin saying Levin’s role was to affect politics while his role was to affect culture. He said Hannity was an ideas man.
As they work with each other, Beck warned their detractors to “look out.”
“Together — I mean, I hate to go to a Saturday morning cartoon but ‘Wonder Twin powers activate.’ And when we do, look out. Look out, progressives, and look out, the GOP,” Beck said.
Beck also said the three all need the “king of the universe” Rush Limbaugh and asked his audience to pray that Limbaugh decides he should engage the three of them, as well.
I don’t recall if/who Beck endorsed in the primary. I voted for Romney/Ryan in the general election but Beck seemed driven in his support of Romney, no matter what.
I was working in an office with limited radio reception and couldn’t use the internet to stream audio so my host options were very limited. I listened to Beck for 9 months of the campaign (starting in 2011) but would rather have had another option.
Savage said that he doesn't want to talk about Obamacare anymore.
I don't trust Savage.
O’Reilly is who I was thinking of too but Levin has always disliked O’Reilly— so how would O’Reilly have fed anything to Levin?

My thoughts exactly. I’d say Rove or Dick Morris. I view Morris as having no conviction and out for a quick buck.
A lot of whining here on this thread. Don’t toss the baby out with the bathwater. Beck though slanted in his Romney support, has done a heck of a lot of good for this country, as has Levin...it is Sean who is the one with Rove as his guest. I’ll take any unity I can find. Sure, I’d love to have Savage and Rush in this mix.
They should “work together” by at least meeting from time to time ensure the hot topics are presented substantially the same way. For example, no amnesty, coordinated attacks on liberals and MSM, etc. But yes, the individualism is good, too, slated in among other topics.
Didn’t like beck on fox. Didn’t have and didn’t want satellite radio. Only recently has my cable company started picking up his blaze channel. Watch him now and then. He is ‘alright’ More libertarian than conservative and I can live with that. But something about him I don’t like either the tears or the communal praying he does.
Hannity lost me in 08 as he fauned all over Giuliani for president. Disgusting display over a NY RINO. (I like Rudy. As mayor of ny not for national politics) anyway it turned me off to hannity and I turned off hannity.

I like levin. Not in a position to listen to him when he s on.
I stick pretty much to limbaugh. That’s About it.
Mark Steyn is dependable if you can find where he’s subbing at that particular day.
Savage is the conservative hatemonger the liberals and media are talking about. Personally I think he’s a closet lib playing conservative for the market.

Google talk show host, Fiji & one other word I can’t remember. I did Google “talk show host and Fiji”. I got Michael Savage’s name and something about sucking toes in Fiji.

The most over the top callers in 2012 (and those who still hold the torch) all believe. I could spot their enthusiasm a mile away. Got in the way of any political litmus test.

I've long thought that his radio persona was just an act that he puts on to make money.
Same is true for 99.9% of all talk show hosts. They're actors.

Thats just Mark Levin being Mark Levin. He trashes anybody who does not agree with him. He snarks anybody who does not think the Article V convention is a good idea and there are a lot of people who don’t.
As for Rush he is El Lobo, he hunts alone. :-)
