Jed Udall, the 26-year-old son of Sen. Mark Udall, D-Eldorado Springs, was arrested Wednesday after Boulder County sheriff's deputies say he broke into three cars and was found with heroin in his pocket.
Residents in the 4700 block of Eldorado Springs Drive called police around noon Wednesday to report they saw Jed Udall breaking into cars, according to Sheriff Joe Pelle.
City of Boulder rangers and Boulder County deputies responded to the scene and found Udall had broken into three cars, Pelle said. Deputies found heroin, a used syringe and a spoon on Udall, who also reportedly admitted to using heroin 48 hours prior to the incident, according to sheriff's officials.

Udall better get his democrat arse out there and legalize heroin ASAP!
Shocking that the son was identified as the son of a democrat!
Sen. Mark Udall, D-Eldorado Springs ....
Just a resume item for his future career as a Democrat.
There is a principle here. If a man can’t run his own household he’s not fit for leadership. We need to get back to that.
So many Dhimmicrat Mormon Udalls. I thought those guys were republicans like mittens? Oh. Right. He ain’t a republican either
Udall joins a long list of political and other public figures who have lost or are losing their kids to hard drugs - many here think this only affect the mean streets, Not so
I hope the Udalls can save their son's life until he reaches the turning point of wanting to save himself
The “kid” is 26. But it bears watching to see what the old man does here. Jeb Bush had a daughter with prescription drug problems during his term as FL governor, he asked for privacy and I’ve never heard the next word about it.
Udall will probably feature the kid in his next campaign commercial and try to suck up to a whole new demographic: parents worried about their kids using drugs— undoubtedly an emerging voter bloc in CO.
Legalize marijuana and you will get lots more heroin users. Me- I would execute heroin dealers.
You would hold a man responsible for what his 26 year old adult son does?
Sounds like Udall needs to quit the Senate to spend more time with his family.
Who care? The son is 26 years old, an fault, and chooses their own direction. Much more important issues that need addressing.
No for the path he put his son on that lead him to this point. Do you believe this kid was a fine young man at 18?
What kind of influences are they allowing in their homes? What examples are they setting? Are they taking the time to have relationships with their families? Parents aren’t helpless victims.
Who care(s)? The son is 26 years old, an fault (adult), and chooses their (his) own direction. Much more important issues that need addressing.
sometimes, they are
as parents of addicts can attest
I hope the Udalls can save their son’s life until he reaches the turning point of wanting to save himself

Good comment.
When I was 26 I owned my own business and was working on a Master’s Degree. Silly me.
