The first vote failed, 52 to 48, on a measure proposed by the Democratic leadership that would have extended benefits for 11 months. The extension would have been largely financed by continuing a 2 percent cut to Medicare health providers for an additional year, through 2024. The second vote, on the original bill, which would have extended benefits for three months at a cost of $6.4 billion, failed 55 to 45.
This is good.
headline on homepage of huffpo “Republicans Kill Unemployment Benefits:”
WRONG!!!
If it fails in the Senate, then it fails in Congress.
Everybody knows that the Republicans control Congress.
The MSM told me so!
wait... racist, woman hating, anti-gay, sexist democrats won’t vote to give people more free obama money from his stash?
I have yet to hear a single voice inform the millions on medicare of this cut to fund the unemployed. In fact, this is the first time I have heard of it. Maybe I missed it because it is playoff season. Someone should be running this fact across the bottom of every courtroom drama show. Liberty could win, it just doesn’t want to.
The leftist Democrats want unemployment incentives in perpetuity so they can avoid creating jobs, and continue overthrowing the US with their silly Socialism.
